FAQ’s
Why composite decking?
Weather Resistance: It withstands moisture, UV rays, and temperature changes far better than natural wood, reducing fading and deterioration.
Low Maintenance: No need for staining, sealing, or frequent repairs—just occasional cleaning.
Pest & Mold Resistance: Unlike wood, composite boards won’t attract termites or develop mold and mildew.
Eco-Friendly: Many composite decks are made from recycled materials, making them a more sustainable choice.
Variety & Aesthetics: Modern options mimic real wood without the upkeep, offering a range of colors and textures.
While composite decking costs more upfront, its reduced maintenance and long lifespan make it more cost-effective over time. If you’re building a deck for the long haul, it’s a smart investment.
I have small dogs and I’m worried about them getting stuck under the deck! What options do I have?
We install deck skirting, paneling, or chicken wire around your deck with built in gates in the side to allow entrance underneath the deck for your needs.
What types of railing do you install?
We install almost any type of railing! Our most popular and long lasting options are the plain black welded railing and our cable deck railing, but we also offer cedar and wooden railing options.
How can I know my deck will be built to last?
We build every deck and patio covering as securely as humanly possible. Unlike most contracting services, we specialize in welded steel framing options along with traditional pressure treated framing. Each deck is cemented to the ground and/or foundation of the home via cement footers (poured around posts) and ledger boards (directly fastening deck frame to cement foundation of home). The joist framing is fastened together by galvanized steel joist hangers for heavy duty longevity.
